What Is The Treatment For An Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding?

I have started bleeding for the third time since October 26th. The first was my normal cycle which lasted 6 days. The second started about 4 days later and lasted another 3-4 days and the third started approximately November 15th and has been extremely heavy. I thought maybe my cycle was just off but the past 3 days have been even heavier, bright red, and containing a lot of clots. I am currently soaking through a super absorbency tampon in about two hours, sometimes as soon as half an hour. My periods have never been "normal" per se, but I have also had an abnormal pap in the past approximately 13 years ago. All paps since have been normal but I do have a history or frequent UTIs and in the past 6 months or so I've had several bouts of bacterial vaginosis. I have also had several kidney infections over the course of 10 years or so.
