What Is The Treatment For Arthritis And Degenerative Disc Disease?

I took a major fall on my stairs and whacked the back of my neck very hard. I could not get up for 10 minutes and then eventually called the ambulance when the pain was not going away. I have a thoracic rod from scoliosis surgery and now have arthritis and degenerative disc disease. The ct and xray show no fractures and rod intact and they said I have a bad neck and back sprain. My arms prior to this had started to have numbness and tingling and since the fall 2 days ago my right arm is continuously numb and tingling and of course lots of pain. Could there be anything more serious going on?
