What To Do For The Pain After The Surgery?

i have been done endoscopy in the year 2010 and diagnosed with prolapsing gastropathy, grade A oesophagitis, fundal gastritis, duodenitis, my doctor has advised me to take the course of pantocid HP for ten days followed by pantocid IT for 30 days, now i am little bit ok but still the pain continues, i have been smoking all these years, but from last four months reducing the cigarettes using nicotine filters and to the number of 8 per day, what should be my future action and which course should i continue
