What To Do For The Slipped Disc Which Is Causing Severe Pain?

I am a woman 47 years. I have been diagnosed 6 slipped disc in my back and neck, Polyneuropathy in legs and starting osteoarthritis of the spine and neck. I am in pain every day and gets a lot of drugs. I have to have surgery, because one slipped disc who sits in th5/th press the spinal cord, it is 8 mm. It´s that much? My legs are not strong anymore, and I have many sensory disorders. I would like to know more about what I have to go through with this surgery? And will I be able to continue a work life? What do you call this kind of herniated I have th5/th6 and what are the symptoms? Can this herniated be triggered, that I was in a traffic accident 20 years ago when I got a powerful whiplash? Has had pain ever since, in the upper back. look forward to answers. sincerely, Colorful artist
