What Treatment Is Suggested For Reduction Of Follicle ?

My Sister in law has PCOS and since she wanted to conceive hence her doc wanted to do a Follicle study. Her LH value is very high and at the 10th day of follicle study she didn t have a follicle and endometrium thickness. so doctor prescribed progynova to have 2 tab per day and on 13th day she had a follicle of 16mm and endometrium thickness of 1 so the doc asked her to take progynova for 3 tab per day. on 15th day her follicle was 26mm and was given HCG injection for ruputure but her follicle didn t rupture for the next 4 days and again she has been given injection for rupturing still her follicle doesn t rupture, Hence doctor asked her to meet tomorrow to give medicine to reduce the follicle cycle. But they didn t have intercourse also. What is the reason? Please explain me briefly.
