Why Am I Spotting Reddish Brown After The Period Is Over?

Hello. I had a question regarding spotting after your period has already stopped. My period came when it was supposed and it seemed completely normal. Three days after I had already stopped I started spotting. It started out a light pinkish color then turned a darker reddish brown right before it stopped. I was just wondering if there might be any problems since I have never spotted before. Thank you. Sincerely, Daphne
