Why Is My Acne Getting Worse When I Am On Accutane?

My roommate is thinking about taking a natural testosterone booster and he gets real bad acne. He has been on accutane for 3 weeks though. I am trying to tell him it might harm me, he thinks otherwise. Could this make his acne worse while on accutane? also could it harm him doing both? or would it be safe?
