Why There Is Pain In Either Side Of Upper Butt Cheek?

When asleep, I am awaken by a small growing pain in either side of my upper butt cheek. I got a colonoscopy a year ago and the doctor said it was rectocele but the symptoms don't match what I feel...please advise! My email address is YYYY@YYYY
