Will Clindamycin Or Desonide Help In Healing Cystic Acne Spot?

I have a cystic acne spot that is trying to heal. I am on doxycycline and have been putting Bactroban cream on it as I have gotten staph infections from this before. Please tell me if Clindamyin or Desonide lotions would be helpful in speeding up the healing process.
