Will A Partially Dislocated Fingernail Root Heal?

I have partially dislocated half of the nail root on my fingernail. The nail bed is nearly completely seperated accept for where it is attached at the half where the nail root is in tact. There is no blood, and the area under the nail bed is clean with no pain or infection. I injured the nail by hitting the tip of my acrylic on a hard surface with great force dislodging the root and the bed on the left side down to the root on the right side. Question: Is it ok to keep it in tact, clean and wrapped? Will it heal and grow back?
