Will Irregular Period Affect Pregnancy In Future?

Hi, I have problem with my regular period. I am facing this problem since 8 months, i am not getting it month on month basis, whereas it was not the problem before. Now only if i take pills i get it, otherwise i don't. I really worry as far as pregancy is concerned. I am going to get married next month and i pray to god that this kind of period problem should not lead me to non pregancy. Please help and suggest.
