Will It Be Safe To Take Tricort Injection For Keloids On Chest?
Hello Sir, I have two chest keloids from past 5 years. I had met a dermatologist 2-3 years back who performed cryosurgery twice at 30 days interval. But it didn't worked and the keloid grew 2-3 times larger. Then I met another doctor who prescribed silicon gels and clobetasol propionate lotions that I used for past 2 years, but it didn't helped in reducing the size. Only it helped that the size remained constant.
Today I met a new dermatologist who prescribed Tricort injection to be applied directly on keloid after 15 days interval. I already got one shot today. She also prescribed 3 creams to apply daily : Opexa gel (7 mins on keloid daily) Diprovate-S plus & BioCorneum : a mixture of both to be applied after applying Opexa gel.
My question is that will this remedy help? I am sacred and worried if the injection doesn't harm and keloid size doesn't increase as it happened 2 years back while cryosurgery ! Can I go with this remedy to see the outcomes?
