Will My Periods Become Regular After Taking 'duphaston'?

hi...im 24 years old and im having an irregular periods..my last period was november 12..im expected to have my period again last december but i only had spotting,then i expected again to have my period last month,that was january,but only spotting,then i take pregnancy test and it was negative..then my friend told me to try duphaston within 5days..im just starting duphaston now...my question is,after taking duphaston,is it possible that my irregular menstruation will be an regular menstruation?it is also possible for me to get pregnant while using duphaston?
