Will Oophorectomy Result In Loss Of Estrogen And Have Sexual Side Effects?

I am having a c section along with removal of both ovaries in a week and a half (I am BRACA 1 positive). I am 35 years old and very scared about the effects of the surgeries. In particular, I am afraid that I wont be able to lose the 50 pounds of baby weight that I have put on throughout my pregnancy. I am also very concerned about the emotional effects of the loss of estrogen ad well as the sexual side effects.
I am considering postponing the oopaorectomy until next year.
Any advice would be appreciated.
