Will Taking Thyronorm Effect Periods?

My periods were due 2-3 days back and have not yet started. Since 25th September I started taking Thyronorm 25mcg as prescribed the Endocrinologist. My TSH was 6 when tested on day 2 of my periods and was 4.02 when tested normally without fasting. I am planning for a baby and was told that the TSH level should be brought down to 2. Is the medicine effecting my periods. Till date periods have been regular.
