Question : Hi my daughter is 10months old. Two days back we got her ears pierced for putting ear rings. We are seeing very little amount of puss around the pierced place. Attached are the images.. is there any home remedy or medication we can give so that it will cure the wound and puss so that it will not worsen..also is there any way to clean that area

Use Mupirocin ointment for external application ,

Detailed Answer:
Hi...You can apply Mupirocin ointment, available as T-BACT ointment.

I have seen the images. As of now this will suffice. No need for oral antibiotics.

Please do not go for home remedies as it may get infected further.

You can clean the area with soap and water and dettol.
