“I Was Recently Diagnosed With PCOS And Have Long Cycles
“I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and have long cycles (45+ days). I understand that being on the pill can help keep problems at bay and even reduce the risk of future problems due to not having a monthly cycle. I do not like the idea of having to be on hormones for the rest of my life and was wondering if there are other options or if I could take the pill for a few days towards the end of the month and then stop in hopes to force a period and the start of a new cycle.” My OBGYN has no concerns and all test are normal.
