1 Stepped On A Nail A Few Weeks Ago: After

1 stepped on a nail a few weeks ago: After gently removing, the 1.5 inches non rust nail, which pierced my rubber boots, and lodged itself, below the middle part of the bottom, of my left foot;immediately, blood oozed from the area. I also squeezed the area, and dark blood flowed from it. However ; a few seconds later, there was pain emanating from the foot through the leg. This lasted for a few minutes. I tried to keep the wound from becoming infected, by keeping the area clean. When I got home, i applied vinegar to the wound. To date, the wound has healed, but the area is sensitive and hurts, occasionally, every time I walk on a hard object. The last time I had a tetanus injection was about 5 years ago. Am I at risk with this nail prick?
