10 Days Ago Felt An Uncomfortable But Not Painful Swelling

10 days ago felt an uncomfortable but not painful swelling around throat and ears that went away. Since then have experienced ear discharge of yellow oily fluid, and squishing sound rather than popping when I try to pop my ears. This also increases discharge rate. Assume ear drum is perforated ? Ear feels like it has fluid in it but no pain as such. Should I keep squishing to clear of leave alone ? Difficult to see a MD on board a yacht at the moment. Peter.
