11 Days Ago I Got Kicked Really Hard On My

11 days ago I got kicked really hard on my left shin. It is swollen up as large as a bad's brain ankle. I have the typical black and blue around the bottom my foot but now it is extraordinarily tender where a guy kicked and is purple splotchy. Is still swollen quite a bit and I am icing several times per day. Do I need to be concerned or will time and icing help?
