11 Days Ago, I Woke Up And Coughed A Big

11 days ago, I woke up and coughed a big piece of phelgm. That's all. Next day, same thing and a few more times during the day, by the fourth day, I was convinced I had a cold that affected only my lower respiratory tract and then it got slightly better each day, with nights being worst. Yesterday, I woke with a stuffy, somewhat runny nose. Last night, I still had a productive cough with far less phlegm and today I have a bit of a stuffy nose out of which I can blow heavier phlegm. I've never had a cold move like this and move this slowly. I've rested and drunk lots of fluids since the beginning -- is this just a normal progression? My energy level is fine and I have no other symptoms.
