11 Y/o With Only A Significant History Of Asthma Has

11 y/o with only a significant history of asthma has been to the ER (X1) and pediatrician (x2) in 5 days. On 5/20/16 had ice cream with fudge and nuts. C/O of bloated feeling, rec'd a Lactaid - with relief); then shortly after, c/o sensation of his "throat closing". Got 10 mg of Prednisone - with relief.
On Monday, had a faint rash to face and neck with no othe symptom. Tuesday (5/23/16) had remainder of ice cream, broke out in a rash all over his entire body with itching about an hour later. Saw pediatrician, instructed to give 20 mg Prednisone x3 days, ordered Epipen and an allergist consult.
On Friday (5/23/16) went to ED, child awaken with nausea, vomiting and severe abdominal cramping. In the triage, a febrile, in the room, developed a low grade temp of ~99.9*F. Strep test negative, discharged without intervention.
Took child to pediatrician on Saturday (5/26/16) for c/o fever 100.9*F and rash and itching persisting. Also, child had vomited that morning. Developed hemorrhage on bilateral corneas. Child also fatigued and tachycardic. No intervention. Calamine lotion, Benadryl for itching, alternate with Motrin and Tylenol for fever.
Over the last 24 hours, fever has increased to 103.9*F. Continue with above referenced intervention plus application of ice. Overnight, fever has lessened to low grade. Itching has persisted, with rash but child describes as pins and needles sensation. What could this be? What should I do?
