2 Days Ago I Hit My Head Very Hard On

2 days ago I hit my head very hard on the corner of my grill trying to move it. Since then I have had a headache in that location radiating down into the rest of my head and felt as though someone was stabbing me in the head repeatedly. I almost had it under control last night when I went to bed, but I woke up with a migrain. As the day went on it progressed to be the most debilitaing migrain I have had in my life. I was ready to go into the ER but waiting for my babysitter to come get my son and during that 15 minutes I took a hot bath with peppermint and lemon oil. I finally had some relief so I decided I would try to rest and let her watch my son. After resting for an hour I felt loads better and finally got up to eat, but ended up just going back to bed for another 3 hours. SInce then my headache has not returned, although the location of the injury is still throbbing, however I am still very nauseous and now that I'm actually awake and trying to do homework I find that I am having trouble speaking, reading and writing. Like things are a little jumbled. I am thinking I may have a concussion but I dont want to go to the doctor because I've been having trouble getting my insurance and I'm working on it but since I dont have it yet I'm worried it will be too much money and they will just tell me to rest anyhow. Would it actually be worthwhile to go in or should I just look for signs of it getting worse and take it easy?
