20 Years Ago I Had A Pilonidil Cyst Removed From

20 years ago I had a pilonidil cyst removed from my tailbone area. My problem is I have a reoccurring pimple/abscess in my upper left thigh area maybe like an inch away from the crease to my private area. My husband popped it and drained it maybe a little over a month ago and the abscess was deep with lots of red blood gushing out, not puss. It has not all the way resolved and feels bigger then smaller, etc. It reminds my of my cyst. What could it be? I will follow up with my dr soon.
