2011 I Had To Be Hospitalized For Pancreatitis - As

2011 I had to be hospitalized for pancreatitis - as I don't drink - Dr's felt that it was my medication that caused it . . the amalyse? was very high. My PCP left the area and the new DR felt that I would benefit from gabapentin (neurontin) 600 mg at hs . . . I have been on it for two weeks and have gained 13 lbs; my fingers are so swollen my rings won't fit. my abdomen hurts down in the lower rib section and is distended - if you push on the sternum I feel like I'm going to throw up. You cannot pinch an inch on my stomach - it's all tight and hard. - I look 7 - 8 mos pregnant which there is no chance of that. PCP is out of office today . . .and I really don't want to go to the ER and spend half the day there . . . can I just stop the medicine and see what happens?
