3 Days Ago I Stabbed My Thumb With Scissors.....I Held

3 days ago I stabbed my thumb with scissors.....I held pressure for an hour when I wrapped it it was still bleeding and changed the bandage 24 hrs later and it bled again.....probably needed a stitch.....bleeding has stopped.....feeling much better today bit I noticed a pinkish arch over the moon at the base of the thumb. Any cause for alarm?
