3 Years Ago I Burnt My Lips While Kayaking Ever

3 years ago I burnt my lips while kayaking ever since then I have to use chap stick all the time because my lips feel dry, 5 weeks ago they started to feel tight and a burning sensation just on the bottom lip and nothing seems to be helping I of course keep them hydrated otherwise they get tight and the burning starts again I'm at a lose what to do or what the cause is
