3 Years Ago I Fell And Broke My Shoulder. I

3 years ago I fell and broke my shoulder. I had caught my foot on the step and fell.. My foot was never checked out and now I have swelling from circuation or water retention. the swelling gets very serve with slight tingling and recently red botches. I do take a water pill but that is not helping for the most part. some days are worse then others. I also have a pain on the top of my foot that hits when I step just the right way.. in your opinion could I have damaged some nerves or veins or something in my foot at the time I fell..
