4 Months Ago I Had Gum Lengthening Done In Preparation

4 months ago I had gum lengthening done in preparation for a crown. A day later I began having a great deal of pain. The pain wasn't going away so finally the tooth was extracted. They said it was cracked. So now 4 months later I decided to have an implant where the tooth was. The first day or two were okay but now the pain is back and very painful. Could i be allergic to the sutures that were used then and now. The area appears to be clean. Thank you
