5 days ago woke suddenly at 5am as if hit in back of head with rubber mallet, loss of balance and poor vision, vomited slightly took 2 aspirin struggled to couch after taking BP 150/100 70 pulse 97% oxy same on both sides , manual reads not electronic , hard slleeping , struggled thu day at own bus. monitering BP. normal is 135/85 P60 . just increased verapramil in 02/2015 after yearly exam was on 180cr 1x now180 am-180pm. changed from zocor40 to crestor 10mg . lots of side effect w/crestor: 2nd day friday still slept on couch ,bp still out of sorts , wife called nurse and sent me to er. I have masters in engineering so i can be intimidating if treated as ignorant, I asked for troponin test andCBC and cat scan of head they did : doc said suffering from tempory positional vertigo. Cat scan w/o contrast no hydrocephalus, parenchymal loss between mild and moderate.... She never looked in ears , B/P has stabilized , am back at 70% but not right yet...i am very discouraged at finding
