50yr Old Son White Mal Of English Irish Decent ....swelling

50yr old son white mal of English Irish decent ....swelling over entire body! 5 weeks into this thing. He is in terrible pain. He had High protein in blood, kidney biopsy done to rule out things. but he got some test results back.....not prostrate issue, not kidney issue, GFR was normal......I think the problem is conjestive heart failure but issues with his veins narrowing somewhere. His father has conjestive heart failure, his father died at age 63 with it and a half brother died at age 45. His father's sister and his father have both had triple by-pass surgery. Any suggestions? Thanks!
