52 year old white female did relief and recovery work on Typhoon Yolanda, 4 months. Unclean living conditions, unfiltered water from well for bathing, brushing teeth, no electric, no way to heat water, no running water, pumped from well. No sanitation. Been treated for verified infection of roundworm, treated for pinworm with pyrantal, and now being treated for strangyloidis with 15 mg 1x dose of ivermectin but 2nd day and small white/tan worm zize of toothbrush bristles with smaller than salt specs only in urine still excreted when urinate. Been home in US 1 year. Roundworm 8-9 inches passed 3 months ago. Crawling feeling has increased, not in rectum area but between uretha and anis. Occurs all times during the day. Bathing 4-5 times with running hot water and antisyptic soap. Use gloves when cleansing myself in bathroom. Steam clean bathroom. Pour boiling water in toilet each time flushed. Use enzyme detergent with hot steam cycle. Wash clothes daily. Must change underware 3-5 times per day and each time in water to wash area. Do not use a bath but running scalding hot water. Swollen abdomen. Nausea. Can't lose weight even with rigorous exercise program. Gained 30-40 lbs since problem with parasites began. White blood count was NOT elevated when roundworm expelled and in ER. Have confirmed case of chkngunya; symptoms dissipated at 8 months. Mistook all fever and aches and pains related to that diagnosis and didn't report others until discovery of roundworm. Fever cyclical. Center chest tightens, coughing begins, expel from lungs. Worm is same white tiny color as those in urine. Liver feels inflamed periodically. Stomach goes crazy if eat garlic or mustard in attempts to even use natural remedies to isolate issue and eradicate. Rectum does not itch as is described by pinworms, pyrantel was used as a means of elimination. No appetite but still have weight gain. Cycle of fever, tight chest, cough, expel is shortening to 5-7 days. 5-15 of these tiny white worms in toilet with many more smaller than salt specs on water when urinating. Consumed fish daily from contaminated oil spill area and fresh water oysters along with pork and chicken of area. Clean water was not available nor access to heat it. In Panay, Romblon, Luzon, Baracay, Negros, Gigantes, Guimares, and Beijing. Swam in fresh water lagoons. Wasn't trying to be stupid, just relaxed after being there so long and now have something I cannot eradicate. Any ideas of this last remaining parasite I have that is specifically white, in urine only, crawls lower abdomen area whenever it wants and doesn't seem to follow the rules of salt, hot water, enzymes in wash, steam cleaning, etc etc?
