6 Days Ago I Received A Positive Test Result For

6 days ago I received a positive test result for chlamydia. I was treated with 1g of azithromycin. After 2 or 3 days burning with urination and penile discharge had stopped. Last night I had protected sex. This morning symptoms seem to have returned. Is it too early to assume treatment didnt work or did having sex before the recommended 7 days affect me?
