A Blood Clot Was Just Found In My Gastrocnemius Vein.
A blood clot was just found in my gastrocnemius vein. I was 11 days post op (hernia repair and tying off a few veins simultaneously). The pain began probably 4-5 days prior though.
The doc is now treating with daily aspirin and having me repeat an U/S in 3 days. Is this the correct course of action?
