A Co Worker Has Cirrhosis Of The Liver--inherited. She Is

A co worker has cirrhosis of the liver--inherited. She is swelling under her diaphragm and retaining fluid in her legs and ankles. The swelling goes around her like an inner tube, is hard to the touch, and she is in a great deal of pain. She is taking Lasix twice a day. Her ammonia level was off a couple of days ago and she was very unsteady and presented as if she was having a stroke (thick tongue, dizzy, unbalanced). I am very concerned--but she will not go back to a doctor because her husband is in bad health.
