A Couple Months Ago I Got A Really Bad Flu

A couple months ago I got a really bad flu and I was prescribed antibiotics. I notice that taste buds at the back of my tongue were enlarged. I went to the doctor and he said that it was enlarged papillae and that its normal. This made me feel better but it's been 2/3 months and they still have not gone away. I'm just a bit concerned. Will they go away on their own? Is their anything I can do?
