A Couple Of Days Ago, I Was Licking A Sucker

A couple of days ago, I was licking a sucker and I noticed that my frenulum was hitting my two front bottom teeth. It hurt but I thought it was nothing. The next day, I wake up with my frenulum hurting when I stick my tongue out or up it hurts a lot. When I touched my frenulum I noticed that there was a lump or a ball. Is this normal?
