A Couple Of Years Ago, For The First Time In

A couple of years ago, for the first time in my life, I got "gout" in my right big toe...very painful! The Dr. said it was probably from the big Scallop dinner I had the night before. He said my Uric acid level went way up, which caused the gout in the extremity(toe), and he prescribed ??? to lower my uric acid level. I took 2-3 of these a day...it did the trick...in two days I was fine!!! What was the drug/pill I took???
