Could My Sore Throat, Itching, White Patches On Tonsils, And Bad Breath After Oral Sex Be An Infection?

A few days ago after oral sex with my husband, I noticed a sore throat, very Itchy and pain and discomfort when I swallow. I ve been taking erolin for the itching but seeing as it still feels uncomfortable I looked today and noticed lots of white patches all over my tonsils and bad breath. Can you help me figure out what this is?
