A Few Months Ago I Started Hearing A Buzzing/ringing (high

A few months ago I started hearing a buzzing/ringing (high pitched) in both ears. I expected it to go away but it hasn't. My blood pressure has always been o.k. I do have high cholestoral but am not able to tolerate the medicine. I try to control it with diet and exercise. In the past few months I have been under quite a bit of stress. I have a prescription for Xanax but only use it when I just can't cope which isn't very often. I have realized the buzzing/ringing isn't going away. Looking for possible ways to deminish the sounds.
