A Few Months Ago My Partner Kicked Me In His

A few months ago my partner kicked me in his sleep and his toenail cut the bottom of my big toe. It healed and I noticed it was kind of yellow underneath so my mother-in-law used a needle and got lots of puss out. After healing it happend again and I managed to squeeze the puss out myself however I've woken threw the night as my toe is so sore its throbbing today and I can't walk on it. Do I need to go to er as doctors are shut or is this something that can wait? Its so sore tho.
