A few months back, I felt pain when I would move my right eye to the left, right or up (but not down). I thought it was odd, but probably related to a migrane. But then I noticed that the eye had visibly shrunken back further into my eye socket, and oddly, my vision had improved so that my 11.5 contacts were too sharp! I had an ophthalmologist examine me, she essentially waved me off but did measure the eyes (they were "within normal limits" to each other) and send me for a CAT scan which she said were normal. She also dialated my eyes and told me my retinas look great. Three days ago, the other eye has also shrunken back and it, too, gained a .5 back in vision. My question is who do I see now, since the ophthalmologist obviously thought it wasn't eye related (and frankly, neither do i).
