A Few Weeks Ago I Dropped Something Hard And Heavy

A few weeks ago I dropped something hard and heavy directly on top of my foot. It was badly bruised and sore. I walked with a limp for a few days. It is still slightly sore but not as bad. Today I noticed there is a dimple directly under the bruise that wasn't there before. Can you tell me what that might be?
