A Few Weeks Back My Neck Felt Sore After I

A few weeks back my neck felt sore after I woke up. I figured I had slept on it wrong. The pain progressed and at one point I bent over to pick something up and I felt a rushing pain on 3 sides shoot up in my head and I heard a crackling sound. My neck hurt for another week, I couldn't look to the right or left. Into my 3rd week and the pain is almost gone in my neck, I can almost turn completely side to side but now I'm getting sporadic pains in my head. It feels like it's in the middle. :(
