A Four Year Old Child Had Surgery To Refresh Cleft

A four year old child had surgery to refresh cleft lip surgery that was initially perfromed at 3 months. Approximately one week following surgery, child develop acute onset of esotropia. Parents did not notice any crossing of the eyes previous to this time and it appeared as an acute onset. Can this be related to the surgery.
