A Friend Had A Blood Transfusion Today And Is Now

A friend had a blood transfusion today and is now noticing ankle edema. She receives transfusions regularly for a rare blood disease. She gets the blood as her hgb drops, q 6 weeks or so. Ankle edema is abnormal for her. Any thing she should do other than elevation? YYYY@YYYY . Thank you
