A friend in a 3rd world country had RHD at a young age. He is now 40, doctors say with 42% heart function, 58% gone from the disease. Doctors say he needs Penadur injections monthly to keep the disease from eating away at the rest of his heart. As his friend I am concerned that this medication is not good long term would there be another more reasonable option?
