A Friend Of Mine Had A Severe Brain Injury Due

A friend of mine had a severe brain injury due to an accident on a scooter. At first she was on ventilator. Now she has a trrach and they are trying to wean her off oxygen. She was in an induced coma, but no longer being induced. She had brain scans 3 days ago. Her mother in law told me she has no brain activity. She is breathing on her own. She has had no response since the accident. It has been 21 days now. They have been unable to wake her. Can she have no brain activity but breathe on her own. Is she just in a vegetative state. What do they do for people like this
