A Friend Of Mine Has A Child That Is Taking

A friend of mine has a child that is taking vyvanse. She does not give him his medication on the weekends because he is so thin, and the medication causes him to not eat. His behavior is not good when he doesn't take his medicine. Does this medication have to have levels kept up or is it okay to skip doses?
