A Friend Of Mine Was In A Head On Collision

A friend of mine was in a head on collision a week ago and has 8 broken ribs just about 15 minutes ago he was sitting in a chair and his wife and him heard his rib crack a sound that his wife described as sounding like it splintered. H described the pain as unbeatable never have i seen him in such distress. What is your recommendation?
